What I’ve been up to…
I’m trying yet another coloring scheme in this artwork (complementary reds and blues). Actually I wanted to use a vintage hand-lettering style, but, aww, stuff it!
Here’s some color theory illustration for you. I can’t believe it took me forever to do this! I spent one week experimenting how to color with this new fake-watercolor style, but at the end I was quite pleased with the result.
I also like how it gradually turns from calm on “analogous” to chaotic colors on “tetradic”.
Here’s all of them in one picture. Click to see all the pretty textures in full resolution. Cheers!
Drawing outfits are fun! In this piece I’m trying a new drawing & coloring style. I’m always awful at drawing “fashion proportions” but I’m trying my best to learn.
PS: This is based on the previous post “what to wear to my cousin’s wedding”, but of course I added in the snake for good measure 😀
PPS: The snake’s name is Valentine. She’s a floral Burmese Python.
Edvard Munch is rolling in his grave right now…
Yeah, it hurts. Nope, it didn’t hurt as much as my tattoos. And the marks would only last for a week.
